I am very interested in seeing what kinds of conversations and communities we can develop on the "net" to enrich our lives and help save the planet.

• Communication
  Nurturing dialogical (mutually respectful, honest, open...) communication as the heart of good human relationships and institutions. (Gregory Bateson, Hans-Georg Gadamer, Jurgen Habermas....)
• Sane Ecomony
  Reorganizing the economy to:
  • provide for all persons' needs and security, and
  • offer everyone meaningful opportunities to contribute to society and find satisfaction in their lives and work.
  (Note: I live in the USA; I don't know much about your situation in England....)
• Maine Coon Cats
  Especially ones with "lynx tips" -- little pointy tufts of fur on the ends of their ears. I have two Maine Coons: one pedigreed, the other from an animal shelter, and I love them a lot. (Only the pedigreed one has lynx-tips, though....)

  We don't have hedgehogs here in the United States (at least not naturally), but they sound like very nice animals, too.
